For more than three decades, Junior Murdock has been a cornerstone of Southlake Carroll athletics, dedicating over 30 years of service to supporting Dragon programs, student-athletes, and the broader Carroll ISD community. His commitment and behind-the-scenes impact have helped shape the game day experience and the overall success of Carroll athletics.
Murdock has served in numerous leadership and volunteer roles throughout his time in Southlake, including as Athletic Booster Club President, a member of the Dragon Council, and Bond Steering Committee Lead, where he played an integral role in supporting the growth and development of Carroll ISD facilities and programs.
His contributions extend far beyond leadership positions. Murdock has been deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of Dragon athletics, including all-level football video production, working on the Dragon Stadium chain crew, and serving as a clock and scoreboard operator. Whether behind the scenes or on the field, his presence has been a constant and reliable force.
In addition, Murdock has completed countless service and repair projects, consistently stepping in wherever needed to ensure that facilities, equipment, and game day operations run smoothly. His willingness to serve in any capacity reflects a selfless dedication to the Carroll community.
