Mitch Enright

Mitch Enright was a cornerstone of one of the most dominant eras in Southlake Carroll football history, serving as a four-year starter on the offensive line from 2001 to 2004. A key protector and leader in the trenches, Enright helped guide the Dragons to an extraordinary 57-6 record during his career, highlighted by a perfect 16-0 season and UIL 5A State Championship in 2004. That same season, Carroll was recognized as the national champion, cementing its place among the greatest teams in Texas high school football history.

As a senior, Enright delivered a truly elite performance, anchoring an offensive line that did not allow a single sack across 475 pass attempts. His consistency and dominance were further reflected in his 92% grading and average of five pancake blocks per game. For his efforts, he earned First-Team All-State honors and was recognized among the top players in Texas by multiple publications, including the Dallas Morning News and Fort Worth Star-Telegram. His contributions to Southlake Carroll football were further recognized with his selection to the program’s All-Decade Team on the offensive line.

Following his standout high school career, Enright continued his academic and athletic journey at Southern Methodist University, where he competed on the offensive line from 2005 to 2009, starting at center his sophomore through senior years. During his senior year, SMU became bowl eligible for the first time since the Death Penalty, ultimately finishing the season 8-5 after a 45-10 win over Nevada in the Hawaii Bowl.

At SMU, he distinguished himself not only on the field but also in the classroom, earning Conference USA Academic Medals, Academic All-American honors, and recognition on the Commissioner’s Honor Roll. Enright graduated with summa cum laude honors from SMU’s Cox School of Business with his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees during his 5 year stint at the school.

Upon graduation from SMU, Mitch and his wife Alison, a proud former Emerald Belle and high school sweetheart, moved to Oklahoma City, OK where he started work for his family-owned aerospace distribution business, eventually taking over as president in 2017. Alison and Mitch have two children, Kennedy and Owen, and are actively involved in their community of Edmond, OK.
