Robert Prigmore

Robert Prigmore is a distinguished alumnus of Southlake Carroll, renowned for his exceptional achievements in wrestling and football.​

Prigmore’s wrestling career at Southlake Carroll was marked by consistent excellence:​

  • 2006: Secured a sixth-place finish in the 189-pound weight class at the UIL State Championships. ​
  • 2007: Improved to a second-place finish in the same weight class, narrowly losing to Spencer Covey of Coppell in a close 8-7 match. ​
  • 2008: Crowned the UIL State Champion in the 189-pound division, defeating Joseph Flores of Canyon Randall with a 5-3 decision. ​

His progression from sixth to first place over three consecutive years underscores his dedication and growth in the sport. In addition to wrestling, Prigmore was a key player on the Southlake Carroll football team. As a defensive tackle, he contributed to the team’s success, including their victory in the 2006 UIL 5A State Championship. 

Prigmore continued his wrestling journey at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he competed in the 184-pound weight class. During his junior season, he achieved an 18-11 record at 184 pounds and a 2-1 record at 197 pounds. ​

He later transferred to Lehigh University, known for its strong wrestling program, where he continued to compete in the 184-pound division.

Robert Prigmore’s athletic career is a testament to his versatility and commitment, leaving a lasting legacy at Southlake Carroll and beyond.
